Activities: After a scenic drive from Arusha, you’ll enter the enchanting rainforests of Lemosho Glades. As you hike to Big Tree Camp, keep your eyes open for unique flora and fauna, including the elusive colobus monkeys swinging above.

Activities: Today’s trek transitions from lush forest to open moorland as you ascend to Shira 1 Camp. Marvel at the expansive views of Mount Kilimanjaro and witness the changing landscapes as you climb. This campsite offers spectacular views and is a great spot for acclimatization.

Activities: A gentle excursion to Shira 2 Camp allows you to explore the Shira Plateau. Rising elevations provide stunning panoramic vistas, and you may catch glimpses of the distinct giant lobelia plants that thrive in this unique environment.

Activities: Trekking today includes a significant elevation gain before descending to Barranco Camp. You’ll pass the famous Lava Tower, a spectacular rock formation, which serves as an acclimatization point before the descent.
Elevation: 4,600 m (Lava Tower) and 3,960 m (Barranco Camp)
Distance: 11 km
Estimated Time: 6-7 hours
Activities: Ascend the famous Barranco Wall, an exhilarating climb that tests your skills with beautiful views waiting at the top! Afterward, you’ll continue to Karanga Camp, nestled between two ridges and known for its stunning vistas.

Estimated Time: 5-6 hours
Activities: Gradually ascend to Barafu Camp, your base camp for the summit attempt. This campsite is crucial for rest and acclimatization, as you’ll proceed late night or early morning for the summit. Explore the surroundings and get mentally prepared for the challenge ahead!

Estimated Time: 4-5 hours
Activities: You will start your summit attempt well before dawn to reach Uhuru Peak, the rooftop of Africa, at sunrise. The exhilaration and accomplishment of standing at 5,895 m are indescribable! After taking in the breathtaking views, descend to Crater Camp for the night.
Elevation: 5,895 m (Uhuru Peak), 5,700 m (Crater Camp)
Distance: 12 km (round trip to summit)
Estimated Time: 12-16 hours
Activities: After breakfast, make your way back to Uhuru Peak for one more photo op before descending to Millennium Camp. Enjoy the diverse landscapes you missed during the night trek. This is a well-deserved break as you reflect on your journey!

Distance: 20 km (round trip)
Estimated Time: 8-10 hours
Activities: Conclude your trek with a pleasant descent through beautiful forest trails to Mweka Gate, where you will celebrate your achievement. This trek offers a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the experience and the friendships built along the way.

Yes, a moderate level of fitness is recommended for trekking Mount Kilimanjaro. Prior training will enhance your trekking experience.
The best times to climb are during the dry seasons, from June to October and January to February, when the weather conditions are most favorable.
Essential gear includes a good quality backpack, trekking poles, waterproof clothing, warm layers, and appropriate footwear. A detailed packing list can be provided.
While there are no strict age limits, trekkers must be at least 10 years old. Those under 18 should be accompanied by an adult.
Supplying oxygen is only recommended in medical emergencies. Our guides are trained to handle altitude sickness and will provide support as needed.
