Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Rongai Gate to Simba Camp

Activities: Drive from Arusha/Moshi to Rongai Gate, then hike to Simba Camp.

The adventure starts with a scenic drive to the Rongai gate, followed by a trek through beautiful pine forest to Simba Camp, where you can enjoy your first night under the stars.

Elevation: 9,300 ft

Distance: 7 km

Day 2: Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp

Activities: Hike from Simba Camp to Kikelewa Camp.

Today, we trek through scenic landscapes, including heath and moorland zones, arriving at Kikelewa Camp which boasts stunning views of Kibo peak.

Elevation: 11,800 ft

Distance: 12 km

Day 3: Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Hut

Activities: Hike from Kikelewa Camp to Mawenzi Tarn Hut.

This trek takes you to Mawenzi Tarn, where you'll have stunning views of Mawenzi peak. A great acclimatization day with pictures to capture the views!

Day 4: Mawenzi Tarn Hut to Kibo Hut

Activities: Hike from Mawenzi Tarn Hut to Kibo Hut.

We’ll trek to Kibo Hut at the base of Kilimanjaro, preparing for the summit attempt tomorrow. This is an important day for acclimatization.

Distance: 9 km

Day 5: Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut

Activities: Summit Uhuru Peak and descend to Horombo Hut.

Early morning, we set out to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro, Uhuru Peak. The trails can be tough, especially during the night. After the summit, descend to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.

Elevation: 19,341 ft (Uhuru Peak), 12,200 ft (Horombo Hut)

Distance: 22 km (round trip)

Estimated Time: 10-14 hours

Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate to Arusha/Moshi

Activities: Descend from Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate and drive back to Arusha/Moshi.

The final hike takes you through lush rainforest, ending at the Marangu Gate. After completing your trek, you will be transferred back to Arusha/Moshi.
