Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

Activities: Drive from Arusha/Moshi to Marangu Gate, then hike to Mandara Hut.

The adventure starts with a scenic drive to the Marangu gate, followed by a trek through beautiful rainforest to Mandara Hut, where you can enjoy your first night under the stars.

Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

Activities: Hike from Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut.

Today, we trek through scenic landscapes, including heath and moorland zones, arriving at Horombo Hut which boasts stunning views of Kibo peak.

Distance: 9 km

Day 3: Acclimatization Day at Horombo Hut

Activities: Spend the day at Horombo Hut to acclimatize to the high altitude.

This is an important day for acclimatization, allowing your body to adjust to the high altitude.

Day 4: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

Day 5: Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak to Horombo Hut

Early morning, we set out to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro, Uhuru Peak. The trails can be tough, especially during the night. After the summit, descend to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.

Elevation: 19,341 ft (Uhuru Peak), 10,500 ft (Horombo Hut)

Distance: 22 km (round trip)

Day 6: Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate to Arusha/Moshi

Activities: Descend from Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate and drive back to Arusha/Moshi.

The final hike takes you through lush rainforest, ending at the Marangu Gate. After completing your trek, you will be transferred back to Arusha/Moshi.
