Day 1: Londorossi Gate to Forest Camp

Activities: Drive from Arusha/Moshi to Londorossi Gate, then hike to Forest Camp.

The journey starts with a scenic drive to the Londorossi gate, followed by a trek through lush montane forest to Forest Camp, where you can enjoy your first night surrounded by nature.

Elevation: 9,200 ft

Distance: 6 km

Day 2: Forest Camp to Shira Camp I to Shira Camp II

Activities: Hike from Forest Camp to Shira Camp I and continue to Shira Camp II.

Today, we trek across open moorlands and enjoy panoramic views as we climb to the Shira plateau, spending the night at Shira Camp II.

Elevation: 12,600 ft

Distance: 11 km

Day 3: Shira Camp II to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp

Activities: Hike from Shira Camp II to Lava Tower and then descend to Barranco Camp.

We’ll ascend to Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp, where beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes await.

Elevation: 15,190 ft (Lava Tower), 13,000 ft (Barranco Camp)

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp

Activities: Hike from Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp and then to Barafu Camp.

This portion includes steep ascents, leading you to Barafu Camp where you'll prepare for the summit attempt tomorrow.

Elevation: 13,000 ft (Barranco Camp), 15,331 ft (Barafu Camp)

Day 5: Barafu Camp to Summit to Mweka Hut

Activities: Summit Mount Kilimanjaro (Uhuru Peak) and descend to Mweka Hut.

Early morning, we set out to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro, Uhuru Peak. After celebrating at the top, we'll descend to Mweka Hut for a well-deserved rest.

Elevation: 19,341 ft (Uhuru Peak), 10,000 ft (Mweka Hut)

Distance: 22 km (round trip)

Estimated Time: 12-14 hours

Day 6: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to Arusha/Moshi

Activities: Descend from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate and drive back to Arusha/Moshi.

The final hike takes you through lush rainforest, ending at the Mweka Gate. After completing your trek, you will be transferred back to Arusha/Moshi.
