You will be welcomed upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. After checking in at your hotel, you have time to relax, meet your trekking team, and prepare for the adventure ahead. A gear check can also be done to ensure you have the necessary equipment for the trek, ensuring a smooth start to your climbing journey.

Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

Activities: Hike from Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut.

Your adventure begins at Marangu Gate, where you will start your trek through beautiful rainforest teeming with wildlife. The hike to Mandara Hut takes approximately 3-5 hours, offering incredible views of the mountain as you navigate through lush vegetation filled with birds and small animals. Enjoy the cool breeze and listen to the sounds of nature surrounding you.
