DAY 1 - MEET AND GREET
Arriving in the coastal village of Mortehoe at 4pm, your adventure begins with coffee, cake, and introductions as we gather to discuss the exciting journey ahead. We’ll run through the itinerary, share photography tips and camera settings, before settling in and enjoying a hearty two-course meal overlooking the wild North Devon coast.
As evening approaches, we head out into the elements to chase the fading light along the dramatic coastline. Feel the sea air, hear the crashing Atlantic waves, and witness the rugged cliffs ignite beneath the glow of golden hour. As the sun sinks into the horizon, you’ll capture your very first seascape images in one of the most breathtaking coastal landscapes in the UK — the perfect start to an unforgettable photography adventure.
As darkness falls and the coastline transforms beneath the night sky, the adventure continues with an unforgettable low-light photography session on the beach. Under the sound of crashing waves and the glow of the stars above, we’ll experiment with long exposures and the thrilling art of wire wool spinning — creating dramatic sparks of light against the rugged North Devon backdrop. It’s an exhilarating chance to push your creativity, master night photography techniques, and capture truly unique images to end the evening in spectacular style.

DAYS 2 & 3 - SEASCAPES
For the early risers, an optional sunrise shoot awaits as we head down to the beach before dawn. Watch the first light of day break across the horizon as the coastline glows with rich colours and dramatic morning atmosphere. With crashing waves, fresh sea air, and golden light spilling across the sand, this is the perfect opportunity to capture breathtaking seascapes before returning for a well-earned breakfast.
After breakfast, and armed with our cameras and packed lunches, we set off for an unforgettable adventure across the peninsula and along the rugged coastal paths of North Devon. Around every corner, dramatic cliffs, crashing waves, hidden coves, and sweeping ocean vistas provide endless opportunities to capture breathtaking seascapes.
For wildlife enthusiasts, the coastline is alive with photographic possibilities — from soaring seabirds riding the sea breeze to the chance of spotting seals basking on the rocks below. With ever-changing light, wild Atlantic scenery, and stunning viewpoints throughout the day, this is a true explorer’s journey for photographers who love both landscape and wildlife photography.

DAY 4 - SEASCAPES
On our final day, we rise before dawn for one last sunrise adventure along the North Devon coastline, capturing the early morning light as it paints the cliffs, beaches, and sea in spectacular colour. After returning for a hearty cooked breakfast, we’ll check out before heading back out with our cameras to explore more hidden gems and dramatic viewpoints along the coast.
As the afternoon draws to a close, we return to the village at 4pm to say our goodbyes, sharing stories from the journey, reflecting on the unforgettable adventures we experienced together, and the incredible photographs captured along the way. From golden sunrises and wild seascapes to star-filled nights and coastal wildlife, you’ll leave with not only stunning images, but memories of an inspiring photography adventure on the rugged North Devon coast.
