DAY 2 - nEW DELHI TO LEH

After breakfast, the adventure truly begins as the group heads to the airport for a spectacular flight into the Himalayas, landing at a military airport in Leh. Surrounded by towering peaks and rugged mountain landscapes, you’ll then journey deeper into the high-altitude wilderness on a scenic drive to your hotel, around an hour and a half away.

The flight from Delhi to Leh launches you more than 9,000 feet into the heart of the Himalayas in just a matter of hours — a dramatic ascent into a world of towering peaks and thin mountain air. Because of this rapid altitude gain, acclimatisation becomes a vital part of the adventure, helping your body adjust before the real expedition into Snow Leopard country begins.

on arrival at the hotel we will check in and then relax as our bodies adjust, information on how to acclimatise will be provided on booking

DAY 5, 6, 7 AND 8 - uLLEY

If you wake before dawn, bundle up and step into the crisp mountain air as the wilderness comes alive around you. Join the expert trackers as they read the landscape and follow ancient signs across the slopes, scanning for movement among the cliffs — searching for ibex navigating the steep ridges, flashes of red fox darting through the terrain, and, if fortune is on our side, the rare and unforgettable silhouette of a Snow Leopard emerging from the rock and snow.

If you prefer a slower start, no worries — after breakfast the expedition truly ignites as we push deep into Snow Leopard territory. Out here, there’s no set plan, only the rhythm of the mountains and the instincts of the trackers guiding the way. The moment news breaks of a sighting, everything changes in an instant — engines start, boots hit the ground, and we’re racing across raw, rugged Himalayan terrain in pursuit of one of nature’s most elusive predators, cameras ready for a fleeting encounter few ever witness.

And the adventure doesn’t stop there — keep scanning the ridgelines and skies above. Tibetan Wolves may slip through the high valleys like shadows, while Golden Eagles and Bearded Vultures carve vast circles overhead, turning the entire wilderness into a constantly unfolding, high-altitude safari.

DAY 3 - dISCOVERING LEH

This day in Leh blends adventure with discovery — a chance to dive into the region’s rich culture while your body adjusts to the high-altitude. At this elevation, an extra day here isn’t just rest, it’s preparation for the even greater heights ahead, setting you up for the wild terrain that lies beyond.

Your day begins with an unforgettable journey to Thiksey Monastery, the largest monastery in Leh — a striking Himalayan masterpiece rising dramatically from the mountainside. With its sweeping white walls and tiered structure echoing the grandeur of Tibet’s Potala Palace, it feels less like a building and more like a fortress of spirit perched high above the valley.

Afterwards, you head out for your first true taste of the wild — a journey to the banks of the legendary Indus River. Here, in this serene yet untamed riverside landscape, nature comes alive: a hidden haven for birdlife where sharp eyes might catch the elusive Ibisbill darting along the water’s edge, alongside a cast of other native Himalayan species.

DAY 9, 10, aND 11 - LEH TO NEW DELHI

Starting early, we make one final push into Snow Leopard country — one last chance to catch a glimpse of these ghost-like predators before we turn back toward Leh before nightfall. But the adventure doesn’t pause for a moment: the journey back becomes an extension of the safari itself, with the flexibility to stop wherever the wild reveals itself. Every bend in the road, every distant ridge becomes an opportunity — for a fleeting sighting, a dramatic landscape, or another unexpected encounter with the high-altitude wildlife that calls this rugged Himalayan realm home.

Once we arrive back in Leh, the pace softens for a while as we take time to rest and recharge after days of high-altitude adventure. And if time allows, we slip back into the vibrant heartbeat of the town — wandering through its bustling market streets for a final taste of Himalayan life, where every corner offers a chance to pick up unique treasures and soak in the last moments of this incredible journey.

The following morning, after breakfast, we begin the final leg of the expedition — a journey back to Leh airport to board our flight down from the high Himalayas to Delhi. As we descend from the mountains, the landscape transforms beneath us, marking the end of an unforgettable wilderness adventure. On arrival, a representative will be there to meet you and transfer you to your hotel, where you can unwind, rest, and reflect on the journey before your onward flights home the next day.
