Hi, I’m Neil Hannam — though everyone calls
me Veggie! My photography adventure began
over ten years ago with a camera, a love
for the outdoors, and absolutely no clue
what I was doing. Like many photographers,
I started with little confidence, but a huge
passion for wildlife, landscapes, and
exploring new places.
Since then, I’ve been lucky enough to learn from incredible photographers, experts, and friends within Nikon, experiences that helped shape not only
my photography, but also my love for teaching and sharing adventures with others.
Now, I want to help you do the same — join me on exciting photography tours filled with stunning locations, hands-on tuition, creative inspiration, plenty of laughs, and the chance to meet amazing like-minded people along the way. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to sharpen your skills, these adventures are all about capturing unforgettable moments and making new friends while doing it.

Each Tour Leader is first-aid trained and brings a wealth of field experience, local knowledge, and practical expertise, giving you the confidence to focus on the experience, the photography, and the adventure ahead
With more than 20 years of Health and Safety experience, I’ve helped shape and support photographic adventures in some of the world’s most inspiring and remote destinations. Working alongside professional photographers, I have played a key role in developing exciting new tours across the globe, ensuring every journey balances exploration with exceptional standards of safety and wellbeing.
TOUR LEADER
Emily Mudie, is a professional photographer based in Surrey and has photographed the puffins on Skomer for many years. Originally from just up the coast from the island Emily is a great lover of the wildlife that Wales has to offer
Formerly the training co-ordinator at Nikon School, Emily went on to set up her own photography business in 2016 and now splits her time between commercial work and running photography experiences and workshops
'Skomer is a very special island, in many areas around the world puffin populations are in decline but Skomer stands out as a beacon against this trend with puffin numbers increasing year on year. There are few places in the world where you will see people and animals existing together in such unison. It is a privilege to walk among these beautiful birds and it has been a great joy of mine to photograph them over the last 7 years. I hope you will want to join us for a truly magical day.'

SENIOR TOUR LEADER
Renato Granieri is an award-winning nature photographer and a regular contributor to the BBC and National Geographic Traveller (UK). His work has received recognition in numerous international photography competitions, including Bird Photographer of the Year, the Asferico International Nature Photography Contest, the National Geographic Traveller Photography Competition (Grand Prize Winner), the International Nature and Bird Photography Contest, and the European Photographer of the Year Awards. Renato specialises in wildlife and travel photography and has explored 82 countries across six continents. Since 2012, he has combined his photographic expertise with a passion for exploration, working as an expedition guide, lecturer, and Zodiac driver aboard small expedition vessels in both the Arctic and Antarctic. His extensive field experience, deep knowledge of remote environments, and award-winning photography have established him as a respected figure in the worlds of nature photography and expedition travel.
Renato is deeply committed to wildlife conservation and plays an active role in supporting the work of the Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Sierra Leone. In recognition of his dedication, he was appointed an official Chimpanzee Ambassador by Tacugama in 2022. Drawing on his extensive experiences with both rehabilitated and wild chimpanzees, Renato regularly delivers engaging lectures that raise awareness of conservation challenges and the vital efforts being made to protect these remarkable primates and their habitats.
Drawing from years of global travel and experience, he now shares his passion and knowledge with photographers of all levels. Leading expeditions from the Arctic and Antarctica to Asia and Africa, he helps photographers master the craft of wildlife photography while emphasizing the powerful stories behind every image.
